Rugby has been selected by the Government of Alberta to participate in a Government of Alberta International Sport Exchange with Hokkaido, Alberta’s sister province in Japan. Plans are underway for 12 male players aged 17-18 years (U18) and 7 team leaders to travel to Hokkaido, Japan on *July 23^rd to August 1^st 2012. All games in Hokkaido will be 7-a-side rugby.

Applications for Coaches, Players and Team Manager is now open.  Please refer to the Rugby Alberta website for information on the selection criteria and to apply. Information will be place under the Elite Rugby tab, choose the Hokkaido Exchange option and a drop down list will follow.

Completed applications must be emailed to a.takel@rugbyalberta.com no later than 12 pm on the stated deadline date. Applications received after this time will not be considered. Applicants will be informed within 48 hours of the application deadline if they have been accepted.

Selection committee will consist of Debby Ashmore (Rugby Alberta Executive Director),  Dave Logan (Rugby Alberta Director) and one other to be appointed.
