The video to your left was produced by Mikey Stott at the inaugural Player & Coach Development session held in Red Deer. The program is taking place at Notre Dame High School and includes invitees from across the province.
Rugby Alberta would like to thank the many volunteers that made themselves available for this session. Without your help the day would not have been the success it was. We are certainly fortunate to have such valuable volunteers who deserve a huge round of applause.
Some of the feed back received so far:
"Thanks again for the invite to attend these sessions. I'm glad to be a part of this new initiative you have implemented in Alberta. "
"I thought it was a great experience to hear Kieran speak about coaching and learn he has the same issues coaching we all do. It was also good to see the coaching strategies and lingo Rugby Canada uses. It was also beneficial to know Rugby Alberta has a plan in place with a common platform for the future. "
"Thanks for organizing and facilitating the session, and i'm looking forward to the next one. "
"Great work this weekend!! It was fantastic to have Kieran out helping the Alberta athletes. The Sunday session was awesome, so good to be able to hook up with a lot of these coaches and discus different rugby issues also to be able to have such a high profile speaker, rugby in Alberta is definitely going in the right direction. Having all the clubs on board and united is huge part of it and you could start to see that Sunday. Thanks for making me apart of it look forward to doing my part in making Alberta the top rugby province in Canada!"
