The 2017 Rugby Alberta Annual General Meeting is set to take place on December 2 & 3, 2017 at the Delta Hotel Edmonton South. Please make sure to mark your calendars! Note that this is a 2-day event, with various workshops and an Awards Banquet on Saturday, followed by both the Rugby Alberta and Alberta Junior Rugby AGM’s taking place on Sunday. A full agenda, schedule and confirmed location will be provided in the near future, be sure to also keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.
The list of eligible votes per club is attached to this email. Please ensure that you forward me your designated voter's names via email prior to November 15, 2017. Below you will find some useful information on the voting structure required for the Rugby Alberta AGM, as per the Rugby Alberta Bylaws.
3.4.2. Voting Members - The only Members who can vote at General or Special meetings of the Society are Members in good standing and will include the current Board of Directors.
18.104.22.168 Each club will hold one vote for each program they offer within their club (Senior Men, Senior Women, Junior Program). Each program must register at least 10 individuals to be considered a program. A list will be posted indicating who is eligible to vote and how many votes they hold prior to the meeting being called to order.
22.214.171.124. A Voting Member may not vote by proxy. If a club registered an individual as outlined and that individual is not present the vote will be lost.
