Officiating is a great way to stay involved in rugby after playing and give something back to the sport. Officiating also helps with your own personal and professional development, and it helps broaden your Rugby knowledge. It keeps you both physically and mentally fit and is incredibly rewarding.
NORTH: ERURS
The ERURS (Edmonton Rugby Union Referees Society) always needs more referees, especially between April 15th and June 30th for the high school tournaments. Mini rugby (U5-U15) starts in May and junior rugby games (U17-U21) ) begin in July – after the high school season. This is a great place to start refereeing.
Contact the ERURS at edmontonrugbyreferees.com for more details.
SOUTH: CRUMOS
Rugby needs great Match Officials (MOs), and CRUMOS (Calgary Rugby Union Match Officials Society) is always excited to welcome new members! If you’re looking to take on a rewarding role in the game, whether as a top-tier MO or by helping grow the sport, we’d love to hear from you.
