Are you a fan of rugby and interested in becoming a match official? Here's your chance to learn the ins and outs of the game and take your passion to the next level. The Alberta Rugby Union is proud to announce the Match Official Course, which is designed to help aspiring referees develop their skills and knowledge.

The course will be held in Edmonton on April 27-29 and May 11-13, and in Calgary on May 5-6. It is open to anyone who is interested in becoming a rugby match official, regardless of their level of experience. The course will cover a range of topics, including the laws of the game, referee positioning, communication, and decision making. The course will be led by experienced referees and coaches, who will provide participants with hands-on training and feedback. By the end of the course, participants will have a deep understanding of the game and the confidence to make informed decisions on the field.

Becoming a match official is a great way to get involved in rugby and make a positive impact on the sport. It offers the opportunity to work closely with players and coaches, while also contributing to the growth and development of rugby in Alberta.

So, what are you waiting for? Sign up for the Match Official Course today and take the first step towards becoming a rugby referee. To register, visit the Alberta Rugby Union website or contact them directly for more information. We look forward to seeing you on the field!
